Fairmont Legion July 22 Pics
Here are some pics from the recent Amercian Legion gig in Fairmont. The gig itself was AWESOME. This was the largest crowd we have ever played for!! The biggest dance crowd we have ever had also. There were many 1975 Fairmont High grads in attendence. Thanks Bruce Simmons for the B & W pics and Todd Miles for the color pics.

We were at the class reunion party Saturday evening post Friday Legion gig. Everyone seemed very pleased at how well we did and amazed we were still rockin after all these years. We were explaining
how we came to the name Lava Lords...70's vibe, Lava Lamps etc and Keith Anderson an ex classmate now in Colorado stated "oh I thought it just meant HOT ROCK"

I had hoped to be at your show at the legion but things did not work out. Sounds like it was a lot of fun.
Just wondering if there was a mysterious tequila and beer for you after one of your sets.
I will make it to one of your shows.
Oh yes we did receive the mysterious free round from some anonymous high roller living near Portland....hmmmm - Thanks Mr O !
